Artisan Academy

The Intro to Storytelling Workshop will take place over two Saturdays, totalling 6 hours of instruction! Dates are January 13th and 20th from 3-6pm.

Gary Whitaker has 30 years of experience and is a master storyteller. In his workshop he will introduce the basics of storytelling which include how to develop and perform a story. Storytelling is a form of theater, which requires developing acting skills to help complement your performance. 

Instructor Bio: Gary Whitaker the Storyman has been performing since 1993. His programs have varied from historical to traditional material. The Storyman has performed in Schools, libraries and at festivals all Over Texas. With 30 years of experience, The Storyman can bring to life a variety of stories. He loves to costume for his themed programs because it adds to his performance. 

The Storyman has performed a Christmas Carol since 2015 at libraries and at private parties.
